Historic Washington has many appealing places for locals, but visitors have one, too. The Bowers-Tripp House, built in 1921 on North Market Street, is now a boutique hotel. Host Ken Watlington spoke with Ellen Brabo, the owner of The Ell Hotel.

Ellen Brabo is a Top 25 finalist in the Ms. Veteran America Competition.

Having moved from the Washington D.C. area, Ellen  “Ell” Brabo, 28, now calls Little Washington home. She redecorated, painted and added bathrooms to her physical home – transforming it into the Ell Hotel Bed and Breakfast and becoming the owner and innkeeper.

As community members in the East are feeling the heaviness of Russia and Ukraine, locals gathered on Friday to pray.
