Why I Am Running

I’m running for Mayor of Washington because I believe in the power of community-centered leadership. This city has given me a place to build a business and a sense of belonging. Now, I’m ready to give back in a bigger way.

Here’s what will be different about my leadership:

I Will Lead with Transparency & Respect.

As a veteran & public affairs professional, I understand that leadership is built on trust. I’ll bring open, honest communication to City Hall through weekly updates, regular town halls & consistent, two-way dialogue. You should never feel left out of the conversation.

I Will Take Action.

In the Army, I was taught to ask, “How do we get to yes?” I will bring that same mindset to City Hall—focusing on solutions, not roadblocks. I don’t just talk about problems. I find resources, build coalitions & execute. As Mayor, I’ll bring a bias for action & a deep commitment to the people of Washington.

I Will Champion Thoughtful Growth.

Growth should enhance our community, not erase it. I’ll prioritize walkability & bikability, sustainability & development that reflects Washington’s character. Together, we can grow in a way that strengthens what we love about our town.

I Will Elevate Civic Engagement & Community Voice.

Residents shouldn’t have to fight to be heard. As Mayor, I will ensure city decisions are made in partnership with the people. That means inclusive planning, accessible information & a city government that works with you, not around you. I’ll make it easier to understand, access & participate in the decisions shaping our future.

Washington deserves leadership that listens deeply, plans boldly, acts with urgency, and leads with heart. That’s the kind of Mayor I intend to be: grounded in faith, fueled by service, and always working for the people of Washington.
