Brabo In The News

I recently sat down with Taylor Walden on her show Shop Talk. We covered a lot of ground from leadership lessons through Army ROTC and my experience as a PublicAffairs Officer to the Soldier transition experience and creating The Ell Hotel.

My purpose in curating this exhibition was not only to showcase the essence of the soldier but also to shed light on the challenges faced by our veterans during their transition. I believe the photographs selected are not just snapshots; they are windows into the soul of service and sacrifice each telling a story of courage and camaraderie.

Ellen Brabo is a local artist and Army veteran who is making it her mission to put a stop to suicide among members of the military. She spent time in the military capturing images of our brave soldiers, and now she wants to give back. Erin Jenkins has more of her story.
